Short answer: Brimar doesn’t make book-style boxes, boxes with magnetic closures, ribbon pulls, or any other option that needs hand assembly. Those boxes are almost always made overseas. What we do make is fully assembled, two-piece rigid set-up boxes, with a removable lid and base, Made in USA.

Why we don’t make them

Book-style boxes, magnetic closures and ribbon pulls all need people to put each box together by hand. That work is slow and labor-intensive, which is why these boxes are almost exclusively made overseas. Our focus is different: we make rigid set-up boxes on machines built for the job, so we can deliver consistent quality and a 3–4 week lead time.

What we do make

Every Brimar set-up box is a sturdy two-piece box: a base and a removable lid. It arrives fully assembled and ready to pack, so nobody on your team has to fold, glue or put anything together. We make sizes from 1.25″ x 0.75″ x 0.5″ up to 22″ x 15″ x 7″. Learn more on our Set Up Boxes page.

How to get a premium look without those features

A two-piece box can look and feel every bit as special. Here’s how:

• Inserts: A custom insert holds your product in place and presents it neatly when the lid comes off. Choose from chipboard, peachboard, foam or vacuum-formed plastic. See Box Inserts.
• Papers and wraps: Foil papers, textured papers like linen or leather-look, natural kraft, themed papers, or paper custom-printed with your graphics. The lid and base can even use different papers.
• Foil stamping and embossing: A foil logo, a raised design, or both together say “luxury” at a glance. See our Graphics page.
• Lid depth: We can make any lid depth. A full-depth lid gives a solid, classic look, while a shallow lid shows off a contrasting base.
• Belly bands: A printed paper band around the box adds a finishing touch, and one box with different bands can cover many products. Read Belly Bands and Set-Up Boxes.
