Short answer: Brimar ships your set-up boxes fully assembled and ready to pack, packed in cartons and palletized, to anywhere in the continental US. How many fit on a pallet depends on your box size, so ask your Custom Box Expert about your order.
Why pallet counts vary
Because set-up boxes arrive assembled, they can’t be shipped flat. The number per carton and per pallet depends on the box size, the lid depth, the board thickness, and whether inserts are packed inside. A tiny ring box and a 22-inch apparel box pack very differently, so there’s no single “boxes per pallet” number.
How your boxes travel
- Truck freight: Brimar can extend pre-negotiated rates on Full Truckload (FTL) and Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipments, which keeps freight consistently competitive.
- Central location: We’re in the Midwest, which makes it affordable to ship anywhere in the continental US. Most of our boxes ship to customers outside our home state, with big shipments to California, New York, Texas, Minnesota and Florida.
- Who pays freight: Your quote states who is responsible for freight.
- Tracking: Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information.
When will it arrive?
Brimar’s lead time is 3–4 weeks, plus transit time to you. Plan ahead around the holidays: Brimar doesn’t manufacture on Thanksgiving Day or the Friday after, and traditionally doesn’t manufacture between Christmas and New Year’s. See Holidays and Your Lead Time.
Get a freight estimate
We can give you a freight estimate if you answer these questions:
- What is the complete physical shipping address? (No PO boxes.)
- Is it a commercial or residential address?
- Do you have a truck-high dock, or will you need a liftgate to unload?
- Can you accept a full-size 53-foot semi, or do you need a smaller truck?
- Is a dock appointment required?
- If a liftgate is needed, does the driver need to help unload?
- Is there anything else we need to tell the carrier to quote accurately?
Getting ready to receive
- Make sure you have dry, clean space to store the boxes.
- Count cartons against the paperwork and note any damage on the delivery receipt.
Short on space? We’ll store them
Brimar can design a custom warehousing program that holds your boxes and ships them when you need them. You can order a bigger run at a lower price per box and pull partial shipments over time. Programs can include billing upon release and special financing.
